The GET Group School Holiday Programme Information

Registering your child
You will need to complete our online registration form above.  If you have attended the programme before, you can simply email Jorgia ( with the dates you are wanting and she will send you a confirmation email with all the details we have in the system for you.  If these need updating, please let her know ASAP.

What to do on the day your child attends the programme
Please ensure your child is signed in at the beginning of each session and signed out when you pick them up. Please encourage your child to stay within the allocated areas and not to wander off the premises. All possible measures are taken to ensure the safety of your child. Please ensure that we have your correct contact details. We use these in case of an emergency and it is important that we can get hold of you immediately if required.

What does your child need to bring?
Please ensure all belongings are named: all children MUST bring a suitable hat, a change of clothing and appropriate clothing for the day's weather conditions. Drinking water is provided and sunscreen is provided in the summer months, however your child may wish to bring their own special brand of sunscreen.

Change of booking or cancellations
To assist in our planning PLEASE let us know as soon as possible if you wish to change/cancel the day/s you have booked. Booking cancellations need to be made at least 2 days in advance of programme start date via email or phone, this will avoid any cancellation fees. If due to unexpected reasons (e.g. sickness) please let us know on the day; call us on 022 3082795 or 027 4228100.  If we are not made aware of absences or cancellations at least 48 hours in advance or on the morning of the programme (due to unexpected sickness) you will be charged the full rate for the day.

Times and Fees
The programme runs during the school holidays, Monday to Friday, but not on public holidays, from 8:30am to 5.30pm.

Full Day (includes lunch)
1 Child = $35.00 per day
2-4 Children = $30.00 per child per day

Half Day (includes lunch)

A half day is any four and a half hours that suit you
1 Child = $25.00 per half day
2-4 Children = $20.00 each per child per half day

Early and Late Pick ups
To support parents who are in work, you are welcome to drop your child/children from 8.15am and pick up as late as 5.45pm. Pick-ups after 5:45pm will incur a $5 penalty fee for every 5 minutes after 5:45pm.

Payment Options
An online deposit of $20.00 is required upon registration.  This will be done automatically through our online registration system.  Jorgia will then email you a registration confirmation with payment details, less the deposit paid. 
Full payment is required prior to the start of the holiday programme, or on the first day of attendance unless payment plan has been made with Jorgia.

By internet banking: The GET Group - 12-3140-0415420-00. Please ensure you put your child's surname in Particulars, child first name in the Code, and the particular programme month, eg 'OCT 22' in the Reference, so that we can easily identify payment.
By cash: on the first day your child attends the programme. Please do not send cash in the mail.

Late Payment Fee
We prefer payment before or on the day of attendance. A 10% fee may be added to late payments.  If you are in a position where you need to make instalments, please contact Jorgia ( to arrange this.

Lunches are provided each day. The GET Group does NOT provide Morning Tea and Afternoon Tea. Please make sure you bring your child with enough packed food for the morning and afternoon. Please indicate on your registration form if your child/children have any allergies or special dietary needs and supply their lunches as The GET Group does not supply alternative food for allergies or special dietary needs.

The GET Group School Holiday Programme will turn away a child for the day if their medication has not been brought for the child. (If your child requires medication, it is expected to be present with the child everyday)

Parent and child/ren Behaviour
The GET Group School Holiday Programme will call the parent if their child has become physically aggressive and they will be expected to be picked up asap.  The GET Group Staff are a huge priority to us and we do not tolerate parents threatening or scaring them, if this were to happen it would lead to the parent and child no longer attending our programme.  Parents are not to enter the kitchen, the kitchen holds private information and medication. You simply sign in and out at the door and the staff will grab everything for the child.

High Needs
Parents are to speak directly to the one-on-one carer (or programme manager) about their child, do not speak to the surrounding staff as the one-on-one carer will know everything the child has done that day.

In line with Covid regulations – hand sanitiser will be freely available and we assure you that good hygiene practices will be followed. In order to help us, we ask that: 1. If your child is feeling even slightly unwell, PLEASE KEEP THEM AT HOME 2. You remind your children how important it is to wash their hands often, especially after going to the toilet and before eating.
