  • What is the overall process for joining a workshop or remote learning?
The process is simple: 1. Register online for a delivered group workshop or remote learning, or contact Adrian directly with any questions. (5% loyalty discount when using the online workshop booking form!) 2. We will confirm your workshop details or send your remote learning resources by email or courier. 3. Complete the learning with all the necessary tools provided. 4. Receive NZQA credits upon completion. Invoices are sent for learners who attend the workshop or when remote learning resources are sent. Results are released upon payment receipt.
  • What are Delivered Group Workshops?
Delivered Group Workshops are when we come to your school/workplace and deliver a face to face learning and assessment workshop for a group of people. To book a Delivered Group Workshop, you can simply email Adrian or give him a call and he will get your group workshop sorted. Our Tutors come to you, fully prepared with all the resources, training gear and bits and pieces required, so you can kick back, relax, and let us do all the heavy lifting. You are only charged for the learners that attend the workshop, but we do need to be prepared, so let us know an approximate number of learners so we have enough workbooks on the day. It is also really helpful if we are aware of any learning difficulties in your group so we can plan accordingly.
  • What is supported remote learning?
Supported Remote Learning allows you to study from home or school with online support from our Remote Manager. To start, register through our Remote Learner Registration on the website, and we will send your workbooks by courier or email. Our Remote Manager will support you via phone, text, or video call and send regular emails to check your progress. If a Tutor is in your area, they can also arrange a face-to-face catch-up at no extra cost.
  • What is the minimum number of learners required for a delivered group workshop?
We typically require at least 10 learners for our workshops. If your group is smaller, please contact Adrian to discuss possible arrangements. We may be able to group people regionally or conduct smaller workshops if a Tutor is available in your area, reducing travel costs.
  • How long does a one-day workshop usually last?
Our workshops typically last between 3-6 hours, depending on the group size, course content, and learners' abilities. Please check with your Tutor at the beginning of the day for the approximate finishing time.
  • What happens if I do not pass the course?
We are all about working with each learner to help them reach their goals, so we offer up to three attempts to get it right. All of our assessments are open book, which makes it easier, and if something is not quite right the first time, you can simply try again! Every learner gets three shots to nail the assessments, and each time our Tutors will guide you through the questions to make sure you understand the requirements so we get a successful result.
  • When will I receive my results?
After completing your course and settling your fees, you will receive an email with your results and digital certificates. Schools can use our Provider Code to log achievements in their internal system (KMAR). If you are not in school, we will update the New Zealand Qualifications Framework (NZQF) and send you a new Record of Achievement (ROA) with your credits and qualifications.
